After the solar eclipse completed its path of totality across the nation Monday, Taxa Outdoors launched a limited-time offer.
Taxa’s Dark Sky Mantis, unveiled after the eclipse, is a limited-edition travel trailer that mimics the eclipse with a Dark Sky custom wrap and limited-edition graphics splashed across its exterior. The model is fitted with matching black wheels and is only available to pre-order until April 15.
The Dark Sky Mantis is upgraded from Taxa’s original Mantis. The trailer features axle-less suspension, all-terrain tires and a Lock N Roll hitch.
The limited-edition model maintains the 2024 Mantis dimensions, measuring 19 feet long, weighing 3,115 pounds and providing room to sleep four adults.
Other 2024 model year Mantis updates have been integrated into the limited edition. The RV has a Victron smart voltmeter with Bluetooth capabilities to monitor power through an app. The trailer features an upgraded kitchen and redesigned storage towers.
The under-bed storage is larger and more easily accessible. The model has a quick disconnect awning brake and Bluetooth-controlled LED interior and exterior lights.
