A peer-to-peer RV rental platform’s new offering connects RV dealers with audiences looking to buy and sell RVs.
RVezy recently introduced a buy-and-sell marketplace to its RV rental platform. RV owners can list RVs for sale and buy new ones through the marketplace.
The company has facilitated RV rentals since 2016. The new marketplace connects consumers who are venturing into RVing with dealers to consider buying an RV.
RVezy has around 22,000 RV listings and 25 partnering dealers.
The marketplace pulls leads from participating dealers’ sites for consumers to browse.
Thompson said, “The visitors that are coming to our site are already in the mindset of getting into the RV lifestyle.”
RVezy’s guest survey found 18% of RVezy consumers wanted to rent an RV before they bought one. Nearly half (42%) were considering an RV purchase. Thompson said the marketplace provides a way for dealers to nurture consumer relationships.
RVezy conducted a soft launch with the platform in September. Within the first five months, the marketplace accumulated 12,000-13,000 RV listings.
Interested dealers can provide their location and inventory size. RVezy will contact dealers and integrate the dealership’s online inventory into the marketplace. From there, consumers can browse updated inventory.
RVezy’s goal is to provide resources for consumers and create more RV owners.
Thompson said, “It is going to allow us to actually bring in more people into the RV lifestyle.”
Dealers interested in collaborating with RVezy can provide information under the marketplace’s “list dealer inventory” tab. To access the marketplace, click here.
