Overland Expo West wrapped up its three-day event in Flagstaff, Arizona, on May 19, the 15th West event. Overland Expo said nearly 30,000 attendees streamed through the gates during the weekend.
The show featured 415 exhibitors and 119 presenters, trainers and VIPs. Attendees came to Flagstaff from 48 states, from as far east as Florida to as far west as Hawaii and Alaska.
Attendees had the opportunity to attend 318 classes, seminars, demos, activities, slideshows and films. Overall, Overland Expo West provided 331 hours of instruction.
Among the event highlights were the first looks at two Overland Expo ultimate builds, the GMC Canyon AT4X and the Ural Gear Up. Overland Expo said both vehicles featured top-of-the-line gear, increasing comfort.
RV companies added their presence to the event. Dometic and Forest River’s Palomino Pause were among the event’s title sponsors. Other sponsors included Encore RV’s Rog adventure trailers, Redarc, Storyteller Overland and Winnebago.
Overland Expo’s next event is Overland Expo PNW in Redmond, Oregon. The event runs from June 28-30.
