Four decades ago, Care Camps Foundation sparked a mission that supports thousands of children with cancer. The foundation was created in 1984 by Kampgrounds of America (KOA) owners who began fundraising for pediatric oncology camps.
Care Camps reflected on the lives touched by generosity in its 2023 Impact Report.
The association provided more than 15,000 children with pediatric oncology camp experiences in 2023. The association’s efforts affected more than 10,000 parents of children with cancer.
In 2023, Care Camps collected $2.7 million in donations, funding 122 camps.
Care Camps’ report recognized individuals who played instrumental roles in the accomplishments and camps the organization supported.
