Canadian Dealerships Exhibit Decreasing Cycle Times

RVDA of Canada unveiled improving repair event cycle time (RECT) trends from Integrated Dealer Systems’ (IDS) May RECT report.

Canadian May average cycle times were three days faster compared with April. The 39-day total RECT is the fastest May average since 2022.

The May average cycle time for work orders with at least one out-of-stock part was 98 days. The average was one day quicker than April and the fastest May average since 2019.

Cycle times for work orders with warranty coverage averaged 62 days. The time was two days quicker than April’s average and the fastest May average since 2021.

Data was collected from 83 Canadian RV dealerships.
