Family memories materialize around campfires, on mountain adventures and with road trip laughter. Supporting consumers by creating family memories through the RV lifestyle motivates Mike Conway in his RV career.
Conway said, “Making family memories is core about who I am.”
In his new role as WFCO Technologies’ Aftermarket Sales Manager, Conway will affect consumers’ family experiences by supporting various industry segments.
According to Conway, he joined WFCO due to the power supplier’s RV focus and its team members.
“I want to be surrounded with very strong team players,” Conway said, “who share the same goal and vision for the business segment as a whole.”
Conway said he is eager to work with WFCO Technologies Vice President of Operations Bobby Raatz, whom he has known for 12 years.
Conway said Raatz’s “leadership and vision for WFCO is why I wanted to be a part of this team.”
In Conway’s new role, he will collaborate with dealers and distributors throughout North America. He will train partners on WFCO messaging and products.
He said, “My job is to ensure that we are getting that message out to the end consumer and ensuring adoption across the marketplace with our products as we continue to grow and expand.”
Through his responsibilities, Conway will guide distributors to stock an accurate product mix. He will enrich dealers with substantial product knowledge.
Conway has a vast industry background. He worked in the RV OEM, supplier and sales sectors. Throughout his career, he has uncovered takeaways to strengthen his skill set.
One lesson he learned regarded consumers’ needs.
Conway said he learned “not to go in and assume you know what that customer needs, but rather learn about that customer… and then help find solutions for them.”
In his new role, Conway will spread WFCO knowledge, and build/maintain relationships to achieve his goals.
