Bama RV, a Dothan, Alabama-based dealership, donated a Forest River Cherokee Grey Wolf toy hauler through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The RV went to Hope Gant and her family. Gant suffers from Rett Syndrome, a genetic neurological condition that impacts an individual’s ability to speak, walk, eat and breathe.

Bama RV Director of Service and Parts and co-owner Dave Chavers said, “A lot of wishes are ‘meet a celebrity’ or ‘go to Disney World,’ those are one-day events. We are hoping this impacts a lifetime of memories with the family and they can go out and truly enjoy each other.”

Jacklyn and Travis Gant adopted Hope. The couple’s oldest child also had Rett Syndrome and passed away in 2013.

Travis Gant said, “We cannot wait to make the memories with her and spend time as a family.”

The family plans to travel to Cheaha State Park in Alabama for their first trip.
