Taxa Outdoors is expanding its off-roading options with a new product line. The Taxa X line includes travel trailers tailored to off-roading adventures.
The line includes Cricket X, Mantis X, TigerMoth X and Woolly Bear X. The models are built upon the manufacturer’s overlanding versions and include enhanced off-road features.
Taxa X off-road features include:
- Cruisemaster CRS2 upgraded suspension.
- Cruisemaster DO35 V3 Plus hitch (not on the Woolly Bear X).
- Reinforced chassis.
- Protective skid plates.
- Off-roading rock slides.
- Aircraft-grade rivets.
- MOLLE panels.
- Upgraded cargo roof racks (Woolly Bear X and TigerMoth X).
Taxa Outdoors CEO Neil Grimmer said, “We have taken everything we know about exploring the wild to craft a line that empowers adventurers and gives them confidence to hit the hardest terrain.”
The Cricket X sleeps two adults and two children, has a 3,350-pound GVWR and measures 15 feet long. The towable includes an interior kitchen and a pop-up roof.
The Mantis X sleeps four adults, has a 5,500-pound GVWR, measures 19 feet long and has a pop-up roof. The Mantis X includes an air conditioner, a full galley kitchen and a heater.
The TigerMoth X sleeps two adults, has a 2,800-pound GVWR, measures 13 feet long and includes a slide-out kitchen.
Woolly Bear X sleeps three adults with a rooftop tent. The trailer has a 2,800-pound GVWR and is 10 feet long.
