TRA Certification, Inc. awarded General Coach Canada with the Emerald Green Certification. The Emerald Green Certification is TRA’s highest ranking in green performance measurements in energy, indoor air, resources and water categories.

The certification applies to the manufacturer’s travel trailers, truck campers, theatrical trailers, office trailers and washrooms.

TRA Certification President Mandy Leazenby said, “General Coach Canada has so elegantly matched sustainability and style.”

The company’s manufacturing process focuses on environmental effects and waste reduction. General Coach Canada uses recycled materials and ensures components are cut to size to minimize waste.

The vehicles feature water-conserving components including instant or combination water heater/furnace systems and bath/kitchen fixtures.

Certified General Coach Canada RVs include LED lighting, solar panels and ductless heating ventilation and air conditioning systems. High-efficiency convention cooktops, furnaces, refrigerators, TVs and water heaters reduce energy consumption.

General Coach Canada was founded in 1950. The company’s RVs are stocked on dealer lots across Canada.
