Since 1950, General Coach Canada has been crafting RVs. For the first time in 74 years, the manufacturer will begin selling travel trailers to U.S. RV dealers.
A General Coach Canada travel trailer and two truck campers will be on display outside the RV/MH Hall of Fame at the Elkhart Extravaganza in Elkhart, Indiana, Sept. 23-26.
The company also makes park models, manufactured homes, theatrical trailers, cabins and commercial vehicles.
While the Ontario-based manufacturer has sold park models and truck campers in the U.S., Elkhart Extravaganza will be the company’s travel trailer debut to U.S. RV dealers.
General Coach Canada owner and President Roger Faulkner said, “We feel that there is a market for a very high-end product in the American market.”
The company will bring its new Citation Reward travel trailer in addition to its Citation Explore 10-2 and 10-8 truck campers.
Faulkner said, “We have a product that is extremely unique to the North American market.”
