Over the past decade, EnerSys, supplier of Odyssey Battery, has supported auto racing teams owned by Team Penske.
For the 10th consecutive year, Odyssey assistance and branding will accompany Team Penske racers.
EnerSys Senior Director of Global Marketing, Transportation and Specialty Dave McMullen said, “The last decade with Team Penske has been an incredible ride and our journey is just getting started. We wish all their drivers a successful year and we look forward to keeping their vehicles powered and in ‘winning’ condition for years ahead.”
Odyssey branding will appear on Team Penske vehicles including the No. 3 IndyCar Series Team Penske Chevrolet driven by 2021 Rookie of the Year Scott McLaughlin, the No. 2 NASCAR Ford Mustang driven by 2022 Daytona 500 champion, Austin Cindric and the latest 2025 Team Penske Chevrolet.
McLaughlin said, “It is a beautiful paint scheme that has been very successful for us. Getting my second IndyCar win in their colors at Mid-Ohio was cool and I know we will have more success in the future.”
EnerSys will collaborate with Team Penske to provide technical support to all Team Penske racing vehicles. Team Penske drivers will also appear at Odyssey Battery’s booth at the 2024 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, Nov. 5-8 in Las Vegas.
Team Penske President Tim Cindric said, “We are really excited to see this relationship continue as we have built a great foundation together on and off the racetrack.”
