EnerSys, creator of Odyssey batteries, released a new product. The supplier launched Odyssey battery chargers.
The devices charge absorbed glass mat (AGM), flooded lead acid and lithium batteries. The portable chargers, weighing between 1.3 and 4.6 pounds depending on the model, are compatible with most 12-volt battery models.
The chargers come in 5-amp, 15-amp and 25-amp varieties. The power solutions include built-in temperature controls and a battery status indicator.
EnerSys Senior Director of Global Marketing, Transportation and Specialty Dave McMullen said, “This is a monumental moment for the transportation industry and a step forward in our ability to offer end-users a fast, convenient and fully automated charging solution that can be tailored to meet all their power requirements.”
The chargers are applicable for RV and other industry use. The device requires constant 120-volt alternating current input to charge. The chargers are available in the U.S., Canada, European Union and the United Kingdom.
