CKI Solutions, a supplier of mattresses, pillows and bedding accessories to the RV industry, was sold Tuesday to Bay Street Manufacturing.
Bay Street Manufacturing operates the HeathGuard brand of residential and commercial bedding products. The company has been in business for over 30 years.
CKI Solutions has been operating since 1996 in the cruise and hospitality industries, among others. CEO Sam Montross said the supplier was profitable, and the challenge in selling the company was finding an owner who would “continue the integrity of CKI Solutions, ensuring the customers, employees and suppliers would benefit from the growth under the new owner.”
“Besides the ability to replace some overseas goods with quality Canadian and U.S.-made products,” Montross said, “the most important factor was finding management who embraced the same sincere attitude of developing long-term relationships instead of just quick sales revenue.”
Bay Street Manufacturing President Greg Hall celebrated the acquisition.
“We are thrilled about our acquisition of CKI Solutions and its incredible products, customers, and relationships across the industry,” Hall said. “We look forward to a smooth continuation of the successful path charted by Sam Montross, Steven Gordon and everyone who made CKI Solutions a stellar company for nearly three decades.”
