SylvanSport plans to expand its North Carolina-based production with its Sylvan Valley Industrial Center (SVIC) expansion project.

The adventure travel trailer and pop-up manufacturer’s facility in Brevard, North Carolina, is expected to grow by 40,000 square feet by summer. The location is near the entrance of Pisgah National Forest.

SylvanSport first discussed expansion plans in the November 2023 issue of RV News.

SylvanSport CEO and founder Tom Dempsey said, “SylvanSport is the perfect complement to the outdoor mecca we call home, one of the best mountain towns in the U.S. The SVIC is an embodiment of the thought leadership and vision to live where we play and drive diverse economic growth and further connection to the outdoors.”

The Transylvania Economic Alliance, an economic development non-profit, is leading the expansion.
