RV Business Solutions (RVBS) is growing its dealer offerings through its recent acquisition. The RV dealership brokerage now provides F&I solutions through its acquisition of Happy Camper Insurance. The merger yielded the newly created Happy Camper Group.
Dom Bookman, RVBS chief operating officer and head of Investor Relations, said, “We saw a new opportunity in the market for a new brand to cater to a new type of customer.”
RVBS has been working to expand its portfolio with F&I solutions that cater to new consumers for more than a year.
Bookman will lead Happy Camper Group, while Happy Camper founder Jeff Sellers will become the Happy Camper Group vice president of business development. RVBS founders Scott Degnan and Mike Lankford will advise on the company’s board of directors.
The business currently includes Happy Camper Insurance services such as full-time campsite liability and emergency expense insurance plans. According to Bookman, RVBS plans to add service/warranty plans and protection packages to the Happy Camper Group F&I menu. The company plans to integrate artificial intelligence tools into the solutions lineup as well.
Degnan said, “This acquisition allows us to provide RV dealers with a complete package of services that deliver more value to their customers. By offering a complete package of resources in one place, dealers can give customers an all-inclusive experience that ensures they feel secure and supported throughout their RV ownership journey.”
