Manufacturers viewed multiple new products at the Airxcel OEM New Product Showcase, which began Wednesday and concluded Thursday at the RV/MH Hall of Fame in Elkhart, Indiana.
Among the product debuts, Airxcel’s Aqua-Hot brand displayed two devices. The supplier unveiled the Wave40 furnace/water heater and the Edge tankless water heater.
Aqua-Hot General Manager Selma Salihagic said, “The Wave40 represents a massive jump in innovation compared to what exists in the market today and epitomizes Aqua-Hot’s commitment to innovation in luxury RV heating.”
According to Airxcel, the 34,000-BTU Wave40 has 10% more airflow compared with the Aqua-Hot Gen1 system. The appliance is suited for up to 15,000 feet. The system features controls, Wi-Fi connectivity, four heating fan speeds, 10 air-circulation fan speeds and an automated timer. The Wave40 is RV-C compatible.
The Edge tankless water heater enables consumers to control water temperature. The appliance provides on-demand hot water at the set temperature. The device is sized to fit into standard 6-gallon water heater side-wall cutouts. Aqua-Hot provides a wall-mount digital control center with the Edge. Doored or doorless models are available.
