Several Airxcel brands unveiled a plethora of merchandise geared toward small RVs and Type B motorhomes at last week’s OEM New Product Showcase in Elkhart, Indiana.

Airxcel President and CEO Anthony Wollschlager said, “The Class B market is continuing to be a popular segment, particularly for new RV owners. We want our customers to have those same comforts of home while they’re out on the road.”

Velarium displayed a new 12-volt, electric RV lateral arm box awning to protect consumers from outdoor elements. The awning retracts into a powder-coated aluminum case. Its lightweight case consists of powder-coated aluminum. Velarium provides awning enhancements for three tiers:

  • Tier 1 – LED lighting
  • Tier 2 – Wind sensor with online app control
  • Tier 3 – LED lighting and wind sensor with online app control

Coleman-Mach debuted a 48-volt rooftop air conditioner unit designed for Type B motorhomes and compact travel trailers. It comprises an adjustable three-speed fan, and its ceiling assembly provides overhead space.

Vixen Composites launched its new Vixenite PET Foam Core Composite Panel for Type B motorhome sub-floors. Designed with foam core between fiberglass mats to supplant wood substrates, the composite panel is meant to supply strength and durability.

With the modern Type B lifestyle in mind, InVision unveiled a 3.1-cubic-foot, 12-volt refrigerator with a 0.37-cubic-feet freezer. It comprises five temperature settings: “boost” mode for fast cooling and a hushed “night” mode.
