Mobile Power Suppliers Introduce Technician Training Course

Go Power and Zamp Solar joined forces to enhance its educational offerings to RV technicians through its partnership with the RV Technical Institute (RVTI). The power suppliers are providing a Level 3 RVTI course to certify and train RV technicians in solar energy solutions.

Go Power Marketing Manager Eva Mitic said, “Solar and battery systems are highly technical, but learning about them should not be hard. Our goal was to make this course as easy to digest as possible while conveniently getting the most hours for our techs.”

The self-led, online course comprises more than 16 hours of accessory, battery, power inverter and RV solar power training. The class includes installation, maintenance and operation instruction. According to the supplier, the course will enable technicians to troubleshoot, diagnose and upgrade mobile power solutions at the dealership level.

RVTI Senior Manager of Recruiting Justin Rickett said, “We are really excited to have these courses be a part of our Level 3 program. This is a stepping stone for all technicians looking to learn all about modern-day mobile power solutions available for customers. We are thrilled to be making this course live.”

The course is available on the Mobile Academy website. To learn more, click here.
