Cheetah-print outfits and accessories decorated Alexxa’s at Paris Las Vegas Tuesday evening. Brown & Brown’s fourth annual “Cheetah Party” gathered dealers and other industry members to celebrate the year’s successes with music, food and beverages. Named in honor of the F&I provider’s company symbol, the cheetah represents vision, swiftness, strength and agility. The company’s annual Cheetah Award recognizes Brown & Brown’s top performers.

The Brown & Brown cheetah first attended the event last year. Brown & Brown Dealer Services’ President of RV F&I, Shawn Moran, said, “That went over quite well last year, and by popular request, he was back.”

The cheetah also appeared at Brown & Brown’s booth on the exhibit floor earlier Tuesday and will return today.

According to Moran, Brown & Brown wanted to invite dealers to experience the Brown & Brown culture.

“Our company culture is very important to us,” he said, “and we love having the opportunity to share it with the dealers at a fun event like this one.”

Dealers, manufacturers and lenders filtered in and out of Alexxa’s bar and patio as a DJ pumped music. According to Moran, the company selected the venue based on dealers’ satisfaction with the location in previous years.

Moran said Brown & Brown hosted the party to foster community and celebrate the industry’s success.

“We brought the industry together,” Moran said. “We had wonderful people in the same room sharing commonality, not being competition.”

This year’s event totaled more than 300 attendees. Last year’s event exceeded 350 guests.

“This event is a genuine opportunity to give back,” Moran said. “It’s all about camaraderie with good friends and truly represents our industry.”

The Brown & Brown team has begun to prepare for next year’s celebration. According to Moran, Brown & Brown teammates look forward to the annual celebration.
