Keyboards clacked and desktop mice clicked as dealers and suppliers across North America participated in Atlas Trailer Coach Products’ virtual distributor show.
Between Nov. 19 and Nov. 20, aftermarket retailers received discounts and restocked inventories through the event’s accessible platform.
Jessica Robbins of Go RV, a dealership in Leduc, Alberta, said, “The program was running nicely, and it was super user-friendly. I was able to find everything I was looking for with ease.”
Nearly 300 aftermarket retailers registered for the virtual event.
According to Thetford Norcold Aftermarket Sales Representative Stacey Martindale, many Canadian dealers participated, making it successful for the supplier.
“This was my first virtual show with (Atlas), and I found it easy to navigate and connect with all the attendees,” Martindale said. “The analytics were clear and easy to understand.”
Wayne Mitchell of GWN Marketing, a manufacturer representative agency, said the event provided a great collection of products at competitive prices.
Mitchell said, “We saw strong sales with the majority of our lines giving us optimism for the upcoming season.”
General Manager Art Tischer said, “Our goal has always been to support the brick-and-mortar dealers, especially in light of the online competition we are all facing.”
The distributor had not decided whether next year’s show will be virtual or in person. Tischer said he looked forward to the new year and was hopeful the economy would rebound
