Looking ahead to 2025, RVDA and KPA will host a webinar at 2 p.m. Eastern on Dec. 19.

The free session, titled “Regulatory Insights for RV Dealers: 2024 & Beyond,” will help RV dealers navigate the regulatory landscape when the new administration and Congress take control in Washington, D.C.

According to RVDA, the webinar is for dealership owners, general managers, HR professionals and compliance officers responsible for ensuring their businesses remain compliant.

RVDA President Phil Ingrassia said, “Staying ahead of regulatory changes is essential for ensuring smooth operations and minimizing risk. With a new Congress and the Trump Administration taking office in January, this session is designed to give RV dealers the knowledge and tools they need to adapt and thrive in a constantly changing regulatory environment.”

KPA Regulatory Project Manager Stephany Birkholz will lead the session, which provides an overview of:

  • Regulatory changes from 2024 and their implications for dealerships, including workplace safety standards, labor compliance updates and environmental regulations tailored to the RV industry.
  • Potential regulatory shifts for 2025, such as details about efforts to prohibit per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in RVs.
  • Preparation strategies for 2025 compliance deadlines.

Birkholtz said, “In addition to changes like minimum wage and regular penalty increases, there are regulations in motion that are likely to be finalized or take effect this year. This session will get into everything from OSHA’s proposed Heat Illness Prevention and Preparedness rule to environmental reporting.”
