In the past two weeks, around 350 RV dealer representatives attended Jayco’s annual Marketing and Skills Training for Excellence in RV Sales (MASTERS) dealer education program. The event concludes this week.

According to Jayco Vice President of Sales Nic Martin, the two sessions generated significantly more first-time attendees compared with past years.

He said, “We love the opportunity to introduce new people to not only our products but our culture at Jayco.”

Nearly 100 Jayco personnel trained attendees on products, marketing resources, consumer experience management, consumer service, warranty, parts, materials, processes and tools at the manufacturer’s Middlebury, Indiana, campus. Product directors and regional sales managers explained product advantages during Jayco’s motorized and towable line tours.

Jayco President and CEO Ken Walters said the program is important.

“We believe it is another thing that we do that sets us apart,” he said. “Having dealers and their teams come to Middlebury and see who we are, understand more clearly what we do and how we do it, cannot be duplicated through virtual training or even in-person on the dealer’s lot.”

Dealers who could not attend in person completed an online curriculum. In 2023, more than 4,500 dealers completed the curriculum, 73% more than the 2,600 dealers who completed the curriculum in 2022.

At the end of each training week, Jayco hosted a graduation ceremony at the Gillespie Conference & Special Event Center at the Hilton Garden Inn, South Bend, Indiana. Jayco leaders gave speeches before dinner. Afterward, graduates received framed certificates of completion along with Jayco apparel.
