In less than two weeks, three industry leaders will take new positions on the RV Technical Institute (RVTI) Board of Directors.
Newmar President Casey Tubman, a current board member, will become RVTI chairman Jan. 1. Tubman replaces current chairman Mary Pouliot, Thetford vice president, who will become RVIA chairman Jan. 1.
Fun Town RV Founder and CEO Jarrod McGhee and Blue Compass RV Vice President of Service and Parts Dave Wilmore will become board members for a one-year term, beginning Jan. 1.
Tubman said, “I look forward to continuing the great work started by Curt Hemmeler and others, taking RVTI to the next level of providing quality service technicians with training credentials that will keep them at the top of their game and our industry’s customers enjoying the outdoors.”
Tubman joined Newmar in July 2022. Before entering the RV industry, he spent more than 25 years leading Whirlpool Corp.
After spending more than 25 years in the RV and automotive industries, McGhee founded Fun Town RV in 2010. Prior to creating his business, McGhee served as an RV dealership salesman and general manager.
Fun Town is an RVTI authorized learning partner and supports the institute’s collaboration with Navarro College.
Wilmore will replace Blue Compass founder, President and CEO Jon Ferrando on the board. Wilmore has more than 20 years of experience in the service and parts industry.
Blue Compass has been an authorized learning partner for four years. The dealer has supported RVTI at recruitment events, including the American School Counselor Association conference in July.
RVTI board leaders will support and guide the institute throughout the year.
