Forest River appointed three new executives, two co-CEOs and a chief financial officer, to jointly lead the company.
The trio will lead the RV manufacturer after the passing of founder and CEO Pete Liegl in November. The transition is the first time someone other than Liegl has helmed Forest River since the company’s founding in 1996.
Doug Gaeddert, who has led the company’s towable divisions for over a quarter-century, was named co-CEO overseeing the Recreational Vehicles Division. Gaeddert was promoted to lead the Recreational Vehicles Division in August.
David Wright was named co-CEO and will manage the company’s Commercial, Bus & Van and Marine Divisions. Darrel Ritchie will remain chief financial officer.
The company said, “Pete’s vision and dedication were fundamental to Forest River’s growth and success. As we move forward, we are confident that the strong foundation he built will continue to inspire and guide us.”
All three leaders were promoted in August.
Forest River acknowledged that the leadership structure marks a new phase in the company’s history but stressed the continuity in the leadership team. The company said it will continue to focus on its people, culture, values and mission to meet consumer, dealer and employee needs.
