Dometic Enriches Aftermarket Members’ Product Knowledge

Dometic created a new training platform for dealer’s aftermarket sales teams. The Dometic Product Academy is a new learning management system that will enhance retail sellers’ product knowledge and sales performance.

The program includes 25 courses to improve knowledge retention, drive business growth and boost engagement. All Dometic aftermarket partners can access the program.

Michael Walsh, Dometic business director, service and aftermarket sales, said, “By investing in our customer’s education, we are strengthening our position as an industry leader and delivering exceptional value to our customers.”

The curriculum covers products including air conditioners, awnings, furnaces, refrigerators and outdoor products.

The program is interactive and adaptive. Employees engage with the program through quizzes and live polls while Dometic’s support feature provides immediate answers.

Key academy features include:

  • Dometic product specialist certification.
  • Artificial intelligence (AI)-driven recommendations based on learners’ roles and performance.
  • In-depth training on Dometic products, services and industry best practices.
  • Engaging content formats such as videos, simulations, quizzes and live classes with resident experts.
  • Measurable results to assess participants’ development and participation.

Dometic plans to add new courses, live product specialist sessions, reference materials and other resources.
