Brevard, North Carolina-based trailer maker SylvanSport will display its camping trailer offering at the industry’s RV/MH Hall of Fame.
The SylvanSport Go will be featured in the hall’s Go RVing wing as a six-month exhibit. The camping trailer was unveiled in 2008, becoming what the manufacturer stated was a “new category of adventure vehicles” that blended outdoor activity with camping convenience. The lightweight Go trailer carries gear such as kayaks, canoes and bikes.
“We are delighted to show off our Go camper in the Go RVing Hall,” SylvanSport CEO Tom Dempsey said. “From design and engineering to sourcing and manufacturing, each Go is the culmination of the hard work and dedication of our team. Over the past 12 years, the Go has proven itself as a comfy, capable and elegant platform for outdoor adventure and we are thrilled to share its quality and innovation with enthusiastic RVers who visit the museum.”
SylvanSport’s trailer has garnered multiple awards and recognitions, including an International Design Excellence Award and a feature in National Geographic Adventure as the “Coolest Camper Ever.”
“The purpose of the Go RVing Hall is to showcase what modern RVing and camping has to offer to customers of all types,” said Jose Rodriguez, RV/MH Heritage Foundation’s administrative manager. “The SylvanSport Go is a wonderful reflection of the versatile nature of today’s RV world. We fully anticipate excited and inquisitive reactions from our visitors.”
SylvanSport was founded in 2004 by Dempsey.
