Looking reminiscent of a Tesla repair center, Luxtor Indoor RV Storage will open in Coachella, California, this spring. The location will provide secure, climate-controlled storage units for sale or lease. RV owners will also have access to on-site repair and maintenance services and a concierge service will be provided to its clients. Luxtor Indoor RV Storage officials said it is the world’s first five-star luxury storage facility.
RV owners can take a shuttle from the Palm Springs International Airport—less than 30 minutes away—to the facility. Upon arrival, their unit will be already prepared for its next adventure.
“We will handle literally everything for our customers,” Luxtor Indoor RV Storage CEO Mike Lyon said. “If people need groceries loaded into their vehicle, we can shop. If they need special linens or a difficult technical repair, we can handle that at our maintenance shop. The idea behind Luxtor was to provide a seamless experience where our owners are really taken care of and treated like they matter. It’s hard to find that kind of personal attention in today’s market.”
The five-star experience focuses on three main areas: services, security and exclusivity. Services at Luxtor include coach delivery and set-up at an owner’s space, professional on-site or mobile detailing, housekeeping and linen services and repairs with maintenance bays equipped with trained technicians.
Live-in management provide 24/7 personal welcome for guests and ensures the park remains safe. Each storage unit has cameras and alarms for remote monitoring. All units have 14-foot power roll-up doors. The facility offers 24-hour keyless entry with radio-frequency identification tags for vehicles.
“As RV owners ourselves, we wanted to create a wise investment opportunity for customers that included the kind of five-star experience we were searching for, but couldn’t find,” Lyon said. “We’re excited to open our doors and see where this new adventure takes us.”
