Icon Technologies, manufacturer and marketer of plastic components for RVs, is maintaining its operations through the global COVID-19 outbreak. Icon is located in the Canadian province of Manitoba, which to this point has been spared the brunt of the pandemic.
“We’ve been closely monitoring the community health situation and keeping in close contact with our OEM and aftermarket distribution partners,” Icon Business Development Manager Harv Giesbrecht said. “Our first priority is to ensure the safety of our staff, community, and business partners. We’ve adopted recommended protocols for sanitation and social distancing within our facility and have limited access to our buildings as well as travel outside of them for business. Our staff has been very diligent in following these routines, and we have managed to maintain a positive atmosphere despite the stress of the current situation.”
With many public institutions closing and the daily routines of life disrupted, Icon has maintained regular customer service hours online and by phone. The company’s customer service representatives are available weekdays, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. CDT, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. CDT on Saturday.
RV distributors, dealers and RV owners continue to have access to Icon’s customer service staff to help select parts and answer technical questions. Inventory on all parts is still available as well, with daily shipments distributing orders across the U.S. and Canada.
