One of the leading RV graphics companies has begun producing a new array of products in response to COVID-19, including some of the floor graphics admonishing supermarket shoppers to keep 6 feet apart.
Vomela Specialty Company, which designs the graphics found on many RV exteriors, produces the social-distancing graphics as well as many other new products. Notably, the company now manufactures 75,000 face shields a day for medical professionals fighting the coronavirus pandemic.
Vomela continues to provide graphics for non-RV essential businesses, including grocery stores, pharmacies, banks and healthcare facilities. Still, leaders at Vomela headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota, said they wanted to do more.
“Our events, exhibits and OEM business has slowed considerably,” Vomela President and CEO Mark Auth said. “However, those groups are now fully engaged in designing and producing products in response to the COVID-19 crisis. This includes face shields, pop-up medical tents, cots, drive-through testing stations, pick-up and curb-side pick-up signage, as well as sneeze guards and social distancing floor graphics”.
The products are being produced in 10 different locations across the country and distributed to customers across the country.
