Thor Motor Coach continued rolling out upgraded RV and motorhome designs for model year 2021 today, July 2.
The leading RV manufacturer released details Thursday about new features included in its A.C.E., Windsport and Hurricane Class A Motorhomes for 2021. Thor rolled out upgrades to its Axis and Vegas models earlier this month, and shared details about the 2021 Delano and Tiburon this week.

Thor announced that an important update for the A.C.E, Windsport and Hurricane Class A motorhomes is the 7.3L V8 engine, boasting 350-hp. and 468-lb.ft. of torque, which decreases greenhouse gas emissions and increases power compared to the former V10 engine. This new model brings a new dash, cup holders, auto headlights, hill start assist and instrument cluster. The new Axxera 10-inch dash radio with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and BlueTooth connectivity allows for interconnectivity.
A.C.E. has a brand-new look with partially painted front caps on the “Fire Brick” or “Blue Flame” exterior graphic packages, accentuated with new LED rear tail lights. A new interior décor package is available as part of the “Home Collection,” featuring new fabric colors with residential cabinets. In addition, A.C.E. now offers a new 100-watt solar charging system with power controller, prolonging boondocking abilities and improving environmental sustainability, Thor announced.
According to Thor, the Hurricane looks “fresh,” with a modern front cap and new exterior graphic packages, including the full-body paint HD Max “Hot Springs” and “Crystal Lakes”, and the “Great Lakes” and “Rio Grande” partial paints. “Nautical Blue II” and “Silver Strand II” interior décor packages are also available. Floorplans with a residential refrigerator feature the new Contoure 12-cf. model, which uses Rapidcold technology.
Windsport’s interior updates include the “Carolina Cherry” cabinet package, “Pewter Frost” interior color package, wall art and a new electric fireplace in the 35M floor plan. A Serta mattress and Furrion oven with cooktop glass cover are now part of the standard build. The Bird’s Eye™ window and Pet-Link™ multi-purpose tie-down features of the Windsport are designed to improve travel for pet owners.
