RVIA President Craig Kirby shared his adamant support for the Great American Outdoors Act in a new video message to the industry today. The RV Industry Association circulated the video as a call to action for industry leaders to contact their representatives in support of the act.
“We are in the final push for the Great American Outdoors Act,” Kirby said. “We could see a vote in the House this week.”
Kirby said the GAOA is important for the RV industry’s success because so much of the RV lifestyle is intertwined with the ability for RV customers to use their RVs at well maintained campsites across the country.

The Senate passed the Great American Outdoors Act in its chambers this past month, with support and thanks from the RVIA and other RV groups. The House is now considering the bill as the next legislative step, which would provide relief for National Parks and the American outdoor recreation industry. The RVIA has shared information and calls for support of the GAOA frequently during the last two months.
“It is the single largest investment in 60 years and will provide resources to reinvigorate our public lands,” Kirby said. “Better campgrounds means more camping, and for our industry that means means more RV buying.”
