Active RV Upholstery has expanded its business to include solar screens after buying the RV Quick Shades business.
RV Quick Shades, previously owned by Dave and Pat Block, launched in 2003.
The solar shade business is a natural fit with the RV upholstery giant, Active RV Upholstery said. Active RV Upholstery will have the ability to update RVs with new fabric, leather, and vinyl styles and designs as well as providing solar protection to keep material from degrading.
RV Quick Shades’ product lines provide UV protection, heat reduction and privacy, while offering the ability to see outside clearly during the day, Active RV Upholstery said.
Shades are mounted inside the RV using suction cups. Because they are inside, RV Quick Shades will not get wet or sticky or develop mold by being exposed to the elements, the company said.
RV Quick Shades offers motor home consumers windshield shades, side window shades, full-width windshield visors, and driver- and passenger-side visors. Fifth wheel and travel trailer consumers can add shades to any size window. Because the shades fit close to the glass, they can be installed behind any other shade that may come with the RV. The shades are available in black, gray, and beige.
RV Quick Shades also has a full mirror cover line and windshield wiper covers in black, gray, and beige.
Active RV Upholstery offers custom upholstery, custom cushions, and foam replacement. The company also creates custom RV bras/masks and RV dash covers.
