RV industry members traveling by airlines and other public transportation means will need to bring their masks for at least another month.
The Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced Thursday the mask mandate on public transportation and transportation hubs will be extended through April 18.
“During that time, CDC will work with government agencies to help inform a revised policy framework for when, and under what circumstances, masks should be required in the public transportation corridor,” the agencies stated.
The requirement is a security directive issued by TSA. The agencies stated a revised framework released in April would be based on the COVID-19 community levels, risk of new variants, national data and the latest science.
“We will communicate any updates publicly if and/or when they change,” the agencies stated.
