Airstream Club Foundation Chooses Partners

The Wally Byam Caravan Club International (WBCCI) Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Airstream Club International, has chosen a new mantra, a mission and a vision as well as partners for their Global Impact Non-Profit Partners Program.

According to Airstram Club International, careful consideration was given by the WBCCI Foundation Board of Directors to ensure that Global Impact Non-Profit Partners had missions that are aligned with the Airstream mission and could develop a strategic approach that includes training programs and presentations.

The new Global Impact Non-Profit Partners are Tread Lightly!, the National Forest Foundation, 4Ocean, Sierra Club and the National Park Foundation.

Tread Lightly! Is a national nonprofit organization promoting responsible recreation through stewardship programs and ethics education. Tread Lightly!’s educational message, along with its training and restoration initiatives, instill a responsibility ethic in outdoor enthusiasts and the industries serving them.

The National Forest Foundation, chartered by Congress, engages Americans in community-based and national programs that promote the health and public enjoyment of the 193-million-acre National Forest System, and administers private gifts of funds and land for the benefit of the National Forests.

4Ocean’s mission is to clean single-use plastics from all waterways around the world. Funds raised will be used for the WBCCI Membership to purchase clean-up kits and to create drives to support the clean-up of waterways during our Local, Regional, and International Rallies. 4Ocean has removed over 23 million pounds of trash from oceans and waterways, and, thanks to 4Ocean’s One Pound Promise, have made it possible for anyone, anywhere to clean the ocean.

Sierra Club is a grassroots environmental non-profit organization in the United States whose mission is to explore, enjoy, and protect the places of the Earth; to practice and promote the responsible use of the Earth’s ecosystems, and resources; to educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment, and to use all lawful means to carry out these objectives.

The National Park Foundation strives to ensure that all people are welcome and able to discover their own personal connections to our National Parks. National Parks tell the story of America, in all its beauty and imperfection.

The new mantra, mission and vision can be found here.
