Airstream launched a new limited edition motorhome today the Overland Expo Mountain West event in Colorado.
The Interstate 19X LE Outland Edition is built for overlanding enthusiasts. Only 30 motorhomes will be manufactured.
The LE Outland Edition features 18-inch wheels and has three 6-inch LED bars on the front brush guard, with two 6-inch hood vent LED lights. Off-road lights replace the motorhome’s traditional fog lights.
The Outland Edition was previewed first at Airstream’s dealer meeting.
The motorhome includes a special interior built by Creative Mobile Interiors, a custom designer Airstream bought this year. The Outland Edition interior features a three-position, full-size platform bed with removable headboard. The bed platform slides outside the rear doors, enabling consumers to sleep outdoors under a 270-degree Batwing awning atop the RV.
The bed frame also boasts a chair swing mount for additional seating and relaxation.
The motorhome includes a Dometic CFX3 powered refrigerator, engineered on an articulating mount to create exterior access to provisions. The refrigerator can be lifted out and carried. In the galley, a stowable induction cooktop can be used inside or swapped for a cutting board and used outside the vehicle. The sink’s fold-down faucet has an integrated cover. At the curbside rear door, an exterior table mount provides an outdoor workstation.
