Airstream unveiled its new 2020 Atlas motor coach recently, touting the RV’s luxury features and its sense of being “off-the-grid.”
The Atlas sits on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van chassis and sleeps up to two people. The 24-foot-long RV includes a power slide-out side, Murphy Suite bed and a residential-style bathroom. It’s the first Airstream motorhome to include a power slide-out.
“The all-new 2020 Airstream Atlas is our most luxurious touring coach to date,” the company wrote. “Built on the magnificent Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van chassis, the Atlas is assembled with the quality and craftsmanship unique to Airstream.”
Airstream calls the all-new Atlas a “Class B+.” The company is happy to be partnering with Mercedes-Benz on the new motorhome.
“We include every Mercedes-Benz safety and performance feature, and add our own proven convenience, design and luxury features from 80+ years of RV experience,” Airstream wrote. “We know every single choice makes a difference in helping people have a life-changing travel experience.”
The Atlas offers one floor plan featuring a bathroom, a kitchen, an entertainment/media cabinet, reclining sofa and removable tables. The sofa slides beneath the Murphy Suite bed when needed.
