Airstream Upfitter Adds All-Electric Option

Ultimate Airstreams, a factory-authorized Airstream upfitter and sister company of Airstream Adventures dealership group, is offering an all-electric Airstream option to consumers.

Ultimate Airstream EV will replace propane and generator use by converting Airstream travel trailers to all-electric power.

The upgrade adds six mechanized, retractable solar wings, equipped with 12 solar panels. The combination provides 1,080 watts of solar power on an Airstream 27FB, a 27-foot travel trailer.

Additionally, Ultimate Airstream installs six lithium batteries, totaling 1,800-amp-hours of capacity. Dual inverters bring 120-volt power from the battery bank.

The result enables RVers to fully unplug from shore power without relying on LP or generator power.

The upgrade is customizable based on almost any Airstream model travel trailer, Ultimate Airstream said.

Ultimate Airstreams operates under the umbrella of AANW Holdings, LLC, which owns Airstream Adventures.
