Airxcel is enriching RV exteriors with an upgraded selection of OEM offerings. The supplier’s numerous divisions decorated the RV/MH Hall of Fame with awnings, exterior doors, frameless windows and steps at last week’s OEM New Product Showcase in Elkhart, Indiana.
Airxcel President and CEO Anthony Wollschlager said, “All of these products ensure that the RV’s exterior can withstand the elements and provide style and comfort for the user.”
Cleer Vision Doors presented a compartment door with three points of contact for single-handed accessibility. The door comprises Vixen Composites materials that can be tinted to match exteriors. The fixtures are available in various sizes and latch options. The product can be sized to OEM specifications.
Cleer Vision Windows premiered its Cleer View Frameless Window System with the Vista Trim Collection. The system features standard roller shades and screens, providing an alternative to pleated shades. The collection provides color match and wood grain options, and accommodates all current Cleer View Frameless Windows and Cleer Vision windows.
Dicor Products revamped its 502 Self-Leveling Lap Sealant. According to Airxcel, the new formula yields reduced curing time and enhanced performance. The solution is used for sealing roof fixtures, vents and edges. The sealant is compatible with rubber, fiberglass, poly-vinyl chloride and thermoplastic polyolefin materials.
Suburban stepped into new offerings with new RV step features. The supplier’s stair tread comes in three- and four-step options with hydraulic lift assist. The composite steps come in wide and narrow configurations. Two- three- and four-step versions are available. The treads are scratch-resistant, and the molded texture eliminates grip tape needs.
Velarium extended various new awnings and accessories. The Awning Rolling Assembly Light Rail streamlines installation, housing the awning canopy, LED lighting and channel to attach to the awning rail in one process. Velarium’s Awning Cradle black aluminum powder-coated construction supports 20-foot and larger awnings. The supplier’s aluminum awning wrap houses awning components when retracted against the RV to provide protection.
Velarium illuminated two new lighting options: a waterproof, chip-on-board (COB) LED strip light and an LED RGB strip light with a wire lead, a radio frequency remote and a maximum brightness of 1,800 lumens.
