Airxcel Division Makes Sustainability Move

RV Products, a division of Airxcel including Coleman-Mach, Maxxair and Solace, furthered its environmental and sustainability efforts by installing solar panels on its Wichita, Kansas, facility.

The supplier began the endeavor early this year. By October, 72 solar panels furnished the facility’s roof.

According to the company, the power system generates a substantial portion of its total power requirements.

RV Products Division President Rob Leach said, “This is just one part of our efforts to utilize renewable energy sources.”

In other environmentally friendly considerations, the company installed LED lights throughout the facility and is considering filling its own propane tanks to reduce waste caused by dumping propane cylinders.

Leach said, “At RV Products, we are dedicated to investing in innovation and sustainability to help elevate the RV industry.”

According to Leach, the development also demonstrates its commitment to supporting the Wichita community, in which it has been operating for more than five decades.
