The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) released the off-site campground tours to be conducted in conjunction with the annual Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE).
Dubbed Takeaway Tours, ARVC said member-parks Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp Resort Asheboro, in Asheboro, North Carolina, and Oasis of North Carolina, in Pinehurst, North Carolina, are the destinations.
OHCE takes place Nov. 8-11 in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Takeaway Tours are add-on experiences and scheduled for Nov. 8. Tours include round-trip private-coach bus transport from the Raleigh Convention Center, breakfast and lunch and a review session with an industry-expert guide. Participants will return in time for the OHCE2021 Welcome Reception at Jimmy Vs.
ARVC said the Takeaway Tours provide in-depth looks at operations and infrastructure. Attendees will interact with the park’s owners, operators and industry-respected guides.
Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp Resort Asheboro features 100 sites on 100 acres with miles of hiking, biking and golf cart trails. Highlights of the park are its amazing swimming pool, laser tag course, two stocked fishing ponds, jumping pillow and playground. The park is just outside Asheboro, home to the world’s largest natural habitat zoo, the North Carolina Zoo. Participants will learn how the campground works with the zoo.
Oasis of North Carolina features 62 sites, including full hookups, yurts, park model cabins, tent sites and glamping pods. The park is in the heart of the North Carolina sandhills.
