The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) announced the results of three elections—Supplier Council Representative and Partnering State Representative, both full terms on its Board of Directors, as well as the Social Chair for its Young Professionals Group.
Voting in the elections was held virtually from Sept. 25 through Oct. 25.
Michael Moore was elected to his first term as the Supplier Council Representative. Moore is the general manager of AGS Guest Guides.
“I am honored to represent the ARVC Supplier Council,” Moore said. “I look forward to bringing their suggestions and feedback to the board in order to strengthen our industry and the national organization.”
Kathy Dyer, Maine Campgrounds Owners Association executive director, was elected to her second term as Partnering State Representative. Dyer said it was important to have an open, supportive and positive attitude for the position.
“I think it is important … to have the willingness to work together as a team with our partnering states and the ARVC team to continue building the reputation and strength of the outdoor hospitality industry,” Dyer said. “I believe I will be instrumental in fulfilling this goal.”
The winner of the ARVC Young Professionals Social Chair election was Jacob Hagofsky, executive assistant for the Pennsylvania Campground Owners Association.
“The ARVC Young Professionals are an incredible group of leaders and the future of our industry,” Hagofsky said. “I look forward to working with this group and our current leaders to continue our growth and success. I plan to help see our continued goals through while hoping to bring new ideas and tasks to the group.”
ARVC is holding elections for four area representative board seats in areas 2, 3, 4 and 6. Online voting ended Oct. 28 and final in-person voting will take place Nov. 10 at ARVC’s 2021 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE) in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Winners will be announced Nov. 11 at ARVC’s annual membership meeting.
