RVIA Executive Vice President James Ashurst recently made a guest appearance on RMWorld Travel, a travel radio show, to discuss outdoor travel trends.
James last joined the show in April 2020. James discussed gas prices, economic trends and the 2022 Economic Impact Study.
Despite high gas prices, “We are still seeing a really strong RV market,” he said on the show.
Ashurst also discussed how RV travel allows consumers to control many individual vacation costs such as meal costs which balance out the cost of gas.
The Economic Impact Study showed the RV industry has a $140 billion annual impact on the U.S. economy and supports nearly 680,000 jobs, paying more than $48 billion in wages, RVIA said.
