Audio technology start-up Resonado Labs will feature its FCS-Enabled sound system in the Airstream Interstate 24X, the manufacturer’s newest Type B motorhome.
Resonado’s featured system is the first of three generations designed specifically for Airstream. The other two will launch in the manufacturer’s 2022 Atlas, Interstate 24GL, 24GT and 19 floorplans later this year.
The collaboration represents Resonado Labs’ first FCS technology implementation with a consumer product and within the RV industry. FCS technology enables speakers with a highly efficient motor to take up minimal space, which the company stated is a key value proposition to touring coaches.
“It is a privilege to partner with Airstream, one of the most iconic brands in the world, to debut our technology in the latest addition to their touring coach lineup,” Resonado Labs co-founder and CEO Brian Youngil Cho said. “We sincerely believe that this partnership will mark a significant milestone for audio and RV by signaling a change of design expectations at the intersection of these industries.”
The audio company worked with Airstream to design custom speakers built with Resonado’s patented technology to integrate with 2022 touring coach models. The system was made specially for the Interstate 24X.
“We have always seen ourselves as trailblazers in the recreational vehicle industry, pushing the boundaries of innovation in every detail of our vehicles to optimize what matters most to our customers,” Airstream VP of Sales Justin Humphreys said. “Implementing Resonado Labs’ breakthrough audio technology into our touring coaches continues our legacy of placing a high value on product design while offering our customers the best performance
aspects possible.”
