A blockchain-based payment system will be offered by Extreme Vehicle Battery Technologies (EV Battery Tech) for the supplier’s anticipated EV Smart Charger line.
The company stated it believes adding a cryptocurrency payment option to its existing blockchain-based battery and maintenance system, the ACDC Blockchain, will round infrastructure offerings.
Blockchain technology facilitates secure international transactions. The method uses encrypted distributed ledgers, or databases that exist across several locations or participants.
“Our goal is to provide consumers convenience and access to EV charging infrastructure on par with that of modern-day gasoline service stations,” EV Battery Tech CEO Bryson Goodwin said. “Our software and hardware development teams have been closely monitoring the EV market’s needs, and we plan to meet those needs through technology and superior product development.”
On the software side, the company is working on its ACDC Blockchain in addition to an integrated smart app for iPhone and Android. The anticipated app will enable users to remotely control, monitor and diagnose EV Battery Tech products.
EV Battery Tech is a battery technology supplier with patented Battery Management Systems made to serve the electric vehicle and energy storage solution markets.
