KiloVault introduced a new solar lithium battery series as the company’s first all-climate battery.
The supplier’s HLX+ series offers features from the HLX and CHLX lines. Key upgrades target battery bank performance and ease of use, at the same price as earlier models.
“We are really looking forward to this next series of products in the KiloVault line,” Product Manager Andrea Belford said. “We listened to our customers and in turn worked closely with our developers to design a battery that meets their growing needs. With the HLX+ line, we feel KiloVault is going to have a competitive advantage over other lithium brands by packing in the most features into a single form factor.”
KiloVault stated the HLX+ series was designed with “versatility” as a drop-in replacement for lead-acid batteries in a renewable energy system. The product provides more energy and a higher cycle count with less weight.
The HLX+ series incorporated several key improvements:
- The new series runs hot and cold, so there is no need for the customer to choose between the CHLX and HLX versions.
- A push-button LED display shows instantaneous state-of-charge readings.
- An optional HLX+ Bridge enables communication between strings of batteries in a bank.
The HLX+ offers built-in Bluetooth and the KiloVault HLX app for Android and iPhone, which provides battery health and performance monitoring.
