Blue Compass RV kicked off 2025 by acquiring an Albuquerque, New Mexico, Airstream dealership. The store is Blue Compass’ 13th Airstream location.
The Aragon family has operated the New Mexico dealership since 1972, when Andy and Dora Aragon began Holiday Travel Trailer Sales, Inc. Aragon’s children and their spouses soon joined the team. In 2000, the Aragons began carrying Airstreams and eventually transitioned into an exclusive Airstream dealership.
In July, the business came in second for Airstream’s top dealer in service award at the manufacturer’s annual dealer meeting.
The dealership will relocate to Blue Compass’ flagship campus off of Highway I-25 in Albuquerque. The Airstream dealership will join the former Aloha RV dealership at 8212 Pan American Freeway Northeast. Just before Blue Compass acquired Aloha RV in 2021, Aloha RV completed a 5-acre expansion, now occupying 12 acres.
Blue Compass President, CEO and founder Jon Ferrando said, “We are thrilled to expand our Airstream presence into the New Mexico market.”
Blue Compass has won Airstream’s Five Rivet Award for nine locations. Ferrando said he is eager to add the New Mexico location to the Five Rivet list. Airstream of New Mexico earned Five Rivet honors in 2024.
