After nearly a 30-year career in the RV and automotive industries, Blue Compass RV Central Region President Larry Hall announced his retirement, effective Aug. 31.
Hall was named president of the ExploreUSA Supercenters in Texas in 2019. He spent nearly four years with Blue Compass RV. Prior to joining Blue Compass RV, Larry was the executive vice president of sales and field operations for Premier Trailer Leasing, a national provider of commercial equipment to the transportation industry. Prior to his experience in commercial trucking, Larry spent years with Ford Motor Co. in various marketing and sales roles.
“After a lengthy career and tremendous run at Blue Compass RV, I made the decision to retire from Blue Compass RV this year,” Hall said. “My leadership role with Blue Compass has been very rewarding. Having the opportunity to grow a business dramatically and to be a part of a team driving exhilarating growth and launching a new retail brand in 2023 has been amazing. This has been an incredible honor to be part of this team led by Jon (Ferrando) making history at Blue Compass RV. Blue Compass RV has a deep talent bench, and I am excited for all the opportunities my team will have at Blue Compass RV now and in the future.”
Upon Hall’s announcement, Blue Compass RV promoted TJ Paulin to Southeast Region president and expanded Anthony Sahli’s leadership role as South Region president to include Blue Compass RV’s Florida, Texas and Oklahoma stores.
The new appointments are effective Sept. 1.

Our whole team at Blue Compass RV wishes Larry and his family all the best in the future.”
Ferrando also expressed excitement for the newly promoted executives.
“I am excited for TJ Paulin to step into a higher leadership role in the company as Southeast Region president,” he said. “TJ will lead our business in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Virginia and Knoxville, Tennessee. TJ has done an exceptional job as a market leader in North Carolina and Virginia leading some of our fastest growing most successful stores at Blue Compass. I am also excited for Anthony Sahli to step into a higher leadership role. Anthony has a strong track record serving in leadership roles at Blue Compass RV, including currently as our Southeast Region president. He will be leading a very important business for us with two of the three largest RV markets in the United States, Texas and Florida.”
Regional Presidents Mark Strollo and Brad Leach will take on additional markets as the dealership group grows, Ferrando said.
