Blue Ox Products released a new fifth wheel hitch and accessory line. The supplier’s BXR Series fifth wheel hitches include a true kingpin connection with no adapters required.
The BXR2100 5th Wheel Hitch connects to a 2 5/16-inch gooseneck ball. The BXR2100 has a 21,000-pound gross towing capacity and 5,000-pound vertical load limit.
The BXR2410 5th Wheel Hitch connects to industry standard rails. The BXR2410 has a 24,000-pound gross towing capacity and a 6,000-pound vertical load limit.

Both BXR fifth-wheel hitches feature a funnel-shaped hitch head helping guide the kingpin into place. The design significantly reduces false hookup and trailer drop rate, Blue Ox said, as well as 360-degree nesting around the kingpin.
The hitches include a dual articulating head moving front, back and side-to-side. The two-piece designs weigh 122 pounds and have three adjustable heights: 17, 18 and 19 inches. Both have been tested for safety with SAE J2638 standards.
