Boreas Campers is expanding its lineup of rugged, off-road capable camper trailers, debuting the EOS-12 Hybrid. The travel trailer is 12 feet long.
The EOS-12 Hybrid will be among the first RVs to incorporate Garmin as a full operating system. The included Garmin tablet allows the user to auto-level the airbag suspension with an on-board compressor, view water tank levels and battery charge, control the temperature, interior and exterior lights and dual-zone speaker system.
“We are excited to debut the EOS-12 Hybrid and reach a new market,” Boreas Campers owner Matt Reichel said, “including individuals and families who want to get off the beaten path for their adventures, but want the comfort of a vehicle that will allow them to stand up and utilize the indoor wet bath.”
The EOS-12 will retain the foundation Boreas used in the company’s XT camper trailer, including a powder-coated steel chassis, all-terrain tires and independent Cruisemaster suspension, providing 20 inches of clearance.
Boreas will construct the RV of all composite materials, eliminating wood.
The interior includes a queen bed, a wet bath and an optional pop-top roof to increase height to 6 feet, 6 inches. The outdoor kitchen includes a Truma 96-liter, dual-zone fridge, Furion’s 3-burner stove, a stainless-steel sink, a fold-down table and a passthrough pantry covered by a 270-degree awning.
