Braxton Creek RV is rebranding to Bontrager Outdoors. The shift occurred more than a year after Bontrager Outdoors co-owners Jason and Austin Bontrager acquired the former Braxton Creek brand in early 2023.
The Bontragers founded Skinny Guy Campers and High Ground Outfitters in 2020.
Bontrager Outdoors CEO Jason Bontrager said, “While this is a big change, it is important to emphasize what will not change—our commitment to quality, affordability and support.”
The rebrand includes changes and updates to Braxton Creek’s RV lines. The Bushwhacker 10- and 12-foot travel trailers will become Bontrager Outdoors’ Small Line. The Bushwhacker Plus 15- and 17-foot towables will be the Standard Line. The Radical Line name will remain unchanged. The segment has been categorized as a separate product line.
In the coming weeks, Bontrager Outdoors will release two new additions to its product lineup, numerous new RV features and a new website.
Since the 2023 acquisition, the Bontragers conducted in-depth research and outreach to understand the manufacturer’s product lineup, assessed the company’s operations and engaged with dealers and customers.
Jason Bontrager said, “With Bontrager Outdoors, our vision is to provide our dealer partners and end-users the best value in the industry from a name that is known and respected.”
Bontrager Outdoors was previously the holding company name for Braxton Creek, High Ground Outfitters and Skinny Guy Campers. With the Braxton Creek rebrand, the holding company name changed to Bontrager Industries.
